To all local artists -

We welcome you to participate in the 3rd Annual Bloomington Community Art Fair, this Labor Day weekend, Aug 30 and 31.  The last two years have been a successful start and we are working to make this year even better.

Bloomington Community Art Fair will be teaming up with Garlic Fest again to supply locally made, garlic-based foods and various genres of musical entertainment from local bands.

Participating artists will be able to set up Saturday morning, and security will be provided throughout Saturday night.

Booth spaces are 12'x12'! (Please note that some spaces are less than 12'x12' due to sidewalks and trees. If your booth or tent is odd sized or less than 12'x12' in some dimension, and you are willing to be considered for one of these spaces, please note that in the appropriate space on your application.)

We would like to reach out to new artists without a tent. With help from Bloomingfoods we are offering a limited number of 10x10 tents, free of charge! They will need to be reserved in advance. Please see the application page or contact information below.

We are applying for a beer and wine license to cover 12 to 6 PM on Saturday.
In addition to the porta-potties, we have asked for access to the Allison-Jukebox Community Center restrooms.

The booth fee on a 12'x12' space, for the entire weekend is $150. We are applying for non-profit status that will decrease our fees. If this happens, the cost will be reduced $20 and refunds issued to artists that have already paid for their booth space.

You must be a local artist or have some direct connection to the Bloomington community to be considered for a space. The artwork you exhibit must be created and/or produced by you. Cooperative artwork is also acceptable and booth sharing is permitted.

Our goal this year is 60 artists. Please help spread the word about our community based art show to fellow artists and the general public. We want to showcase a variety of artistic mediums as well as have a large turnout of shoppers. You can be a big part in making this happen by liking our Facebook page, tweet about us, share this link or just try some good old fashion talking to people!

And of course, there will be donuts and coffee!

Please contact us with comments, questions or if you are interested in volunteering.
